The Perfect Customer Experience

When Customers Become Advocates For Your Brand

Good Angel, Bad Devil. Happy 1,000th Posting.

By Dale Wolf, Blogkeeper

I was going to let Louis Columbus or Randy Saunders post this one — our 1,000th post on this blog. They have been such strong contributors and have worked so hard to bring everyone reading this blog interesting and useful content that I felt they deserved the honor of posting No. 1,000.

That was the good angel talking to me.

Bad Angel But then, from my other shoulder the bad devil was screaming so loud … “Take it yourself, Dale. You started the blog. You gave it birth. Why should they get the glory?

Well, as history has now recorded, I gave in once more to the devil.

The important thing to all of us who post here … Randy, Louis, John Todor, Steve Kayser, Jeanne Bliss, Shaun Smith, Tom Nies, Jill Griffin … the list is really quite impressive. We all share a commitment to help readers to improve the experience their organizations provide to customers. Since 2005, we have been hammering away from all sorts of angles.

Two companies have allowed this thing to go on with their support: from the beginning and still today, Cincom Systems has been behind this blog. And today, Compass Clinical Consulting has added its support — particularly in the area of improving patient experiences in American hospitals.

The best evidence that we are reaching minds and hearts is the fact that we get about one comment for every three posts. So I would also have to thank you, the readers who have been posting comments and adding your thoughts to this dialogue … you, too, have shaped the nature of the conversation.

Well, enough celebrating. On to 2,000!
