The Expert Access Radio Hour is on the Air

For years, Steve Kayser and a small elite team of smart people at Cincom Systems have published an eZine called “Expert Access.” It started small but with a big vision. Today, the online magazine has over 150,000 subscribers — people from big and small companies around the world. The eZine presents articles about how to run a better business, written by Steve and a huge panel of experts in all facets of business.
Today was a special day for Expert Access. It expanded from an online magazine published every two weeks to a unique radio program — The Expert Access Radio Hour. The show is carried by Cincinnati-based radio station, WKRC, The Talk Radio Station.
Steve and Jay McKeever co-host the show and interview the experts from Expert Access. The premier show ran today at 4 pm on WKRC with an interview with David Meerman Scott, author, keynote speaker and business strategist on how to improve business.
Steve and Jay interviewed David about his most recent book: Real-Time Marketing & PR which is currently the No. 2 best seller rated by Wall Street Journal. For those of you who missed the first show or for those of you who live outside the range of WKRC, the interview is recorded on Cincom’s website.
Scott is now a leading expert on real-time business, in part because he recently interviewed executives at the Fortune 100 on this subject. Noteworthy, is the research he did after the interviews. Of the Fortune 100 companies, 28 met his criteria as real-time companies. These 28 organizations grew their stock value up by an average of 2.5% while the others shrank a similar amount … for a 5% swing in corporate value.
Why the growth in a recession while others went backwards? The real-time companies are in real-time connection with their customers. They are on top of what people are saying about them on social media. When the comments are negative, they go into high gear to address the issues and reestablish good customer relationships. When the comments are positive, they reach out and thank the people who are talking about them. The connect with customers in real-time, while the conversations are underway.
