Every hour in the United States someone is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), an unpredictable and often disabling disease. MS attacks the myelin that protects normal nerve tissue. This damage prevents people from living smoothly, both inside and out.
MS hits close to home
In 1984 Cincomer Dave Schwarber’s wife Barb, an active wife and mother of two, was diagnosed with MS. Just four years ago, his daughter Amy was also diagnosed with MS. Through it all, Dave and the Schwarber family have maintained an infectious “Never Quit” attitude that is inspiring to everyone they meet.
Moving for MS
Inspired by the Schwarber family, the Cincom Wellness Team has formed a team for Walk MS: Cincinnati, becoming part of the powerful movement that will end MS forever. We’d be honored if you’d join us. You can walk with team Never Quit on April 16 or May 7. Or any donation you can make to the cause is welcome.
